color mixing

Be able to draw the lighting color wheel and understand the basics of color mixing.

1) Read Chapter 1 section 1.08 Color.

2) Study the information below.

Remember that the lighting color wheel is different than the pigment color wheel.

Two different types of color mixing:

RGB (Red, Blue, Green) color mixing. These are the primary colors.

CYM (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta) color mixing.  These are the secondary colors.

Color medium: Gel and Dichroics

Two different pieces of color medium (gel).
